Enhancing Entrepreneurship Skills for Women in Uzbekistan
Empowering Women to Lead, Innovate, and Shape the Future of Uzbekistan's Economy
The EMPOWER project aims to foster gender equality and increase employability among women in Uzbekistan by enhancing their entrepreneurial skills. Through inspiring success stories from six successful Uzbek female entrepreneurs, women will gain insights and motivation. Selected participants will receive training in essential business skills, serving as the first step towards independence.
This project will be piloted at universities with over 80% female enrollment, offering online training to women, including mothers on maternity leave, housewives, and those from remote areas. By empowering women to pursue entrepreneurship, EMPOWER will create new job opportunities, increase the number of women in managerial roles, and foster self-confidence and independence. Ultimately, the project will help reduce the gender gap and enhance female employability across Uzbekistan.
